Advanced I/O Timing produces the Signal Integrity Metrics report, which provides board delay estimates and signal integrity data for digital signals at the FPGA pin and at the far end of the board trace. Advanced I/O Timing simulates the board trace from each output or bidirectional pin in isolation; it models the transmission line reflections and ringing generated by the cumulative effects of each pin's output buffer configuration and board trace and termination parameters.
